BID Manager

We are looking for a BID manager to join our team

As a BID manager, You Will

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process
  • devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points of Magal, and understanding the clients’ specific requirements 
  • addressing the selection criteria of the bid
  • gathering and creating all required administrative documentation for the bid
  • researching, writing and/or checking proposals - Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation
  • working with key members of magal ( Sales, Pre-Sales engineers, Legal, Finances, executive management, partners, project managers, subcontractors and more) and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid
  • assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid
  • negotiating agreements with suppliers and/or subcontractors and/or partners
  • responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
  • if the bid is successful, briefing the teams who will carry out the project work


Role Requirements:

  • Experience as a bid manager at least 3 years in HLS, projects, or similar fields involving technology
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills in ENGLISH
  • Contracts experience – reviewing, analyzing risks, re-phrasing, negotiation
  • Able to handle significant documents – read & write
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or another relevant discipline
  • Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends
